Three Trees Candle Co started the way most good things do - at a kitchen table, with a kit, a lot of failed attempts, and the slow realisation that this might actually become something.

We're a small, independent candle maker based on the Wirral, and every candle we sell is made by hand in our home studio. Not outsourced, not scaled up, not produced in a warehouse somewhere. Just small batches, poured with care, one at a time.

From the beginning, we wanted to make candles that were worth keeping - not just as things to burn, but as objects you'd actually want on a shelf. That's where the sculptural side of things came from. Dice, dragons, houses, ghosts - shapes that feel considered and a little bit playful, because we think your home should reflect who you are, not just what's on trend.

Everything we make uses 100% natural soy wax - plant-based, vegan-friendly, and cleaner burning than paraffin. Our packaging is kept as minimal and sustainable as we can make it. We source locally where possible and we're always looking at ways to tread a little more lightly.

The name comes from three trees in our garden - a sprawling oak, a majestic pine, and a eucalyptus that fills the air on warm days with something that honestly should be bottled. They were there at the very beginning, looking on while the first batches were poured and the first disasters were scraped out of moulds. They felt like the right thing to name it after.
